The fear and doubt of Bell’s Palsy

Experiencing Bell’s palsy symptoms is an experience that can leave you with fear, questions, doubts, uncertainty, and for some, shame.

I am very familiar with the symptoms as I myself experienced BP, and have also helped hundreds recovering.

I have been privileged to experience BP as a physiotherapist, having the training to treat it and knowing immediately what it was. I recognized that I had not suffered a stroke but yet experience the anguish of facial paralysis, almost constant tearing for 2 days, which was for me the worst symptom.

But I knew how to treat it and started treatment on day one.

Resources for recovery

I was immediately dedicated to my recovery, obsessing over it, and successfully recovered 100% in 10 days. No magic involved, just doing the right thing at the right time.

I also understand the lack of readily available resources for patients, the general lack of medical follow-ups in treatment beyond the initial steroids and antivirals medications , the lack of referrals to specialists… The abundance of non scientifically proven over the counter and alternative treatments leaves one suffering from BP with mostly… Confusion.

Based on my experience with BP and my speedy recovery I’ve developed an online course to help other’s get on track to recovery and treat their Bell’s Palsy at home.
